Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy governs all research consultancy, data analytics services, and guidance sessions provided by DSCHOLAR RESEARCH CONSULTANCY AND ANALYTICS (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED. By availing of our services, you agree to the terms outlined below.

Notice of Revision (31st August 2026)

Updated to incorporate SureCart EU Helper compliance (providing European Union consumers direct Right of Withdrawal features via the Customer Dashboard), fix section numbering hierarchy, and standardize visual design across all legal pages.

1. Research Consultancy & Analytical Projects

1.1 Consultancy Fees & Cancellation

Commenced Services: All fees for consultancy and analytical services are non-refundable once the project or work execution has commenced.

Pre-Commencement Cancellation: If you cancel a project before work begins, a full refund will be provided minus any unavoidable administrative processing fees incurred.

1.2 Revisions & Termination

Deliverable Revisions: Clients may request revisions within the timeframe specified in their consultancy agreement at no extra cost, provided requests fall within the original project scope. Out-of-scope requests may incur additional fees.

Termination by DScholar: We reserve the right to terminate a project if a client fails to comply with agreement terms. No refund will be issued in such cases.

2. Online Career Counseling & Guidance Sessions

2.1 Booking & Client Cancellations

All guidance and counseling sessions must be booked and paid for in advance.

More than 48 Hours Notice: Full refund or payment credit applied to a future session without penalty.
Less than 48 Hours Notice: Cancellations are non-refundable. Rescheduling within this window incurs a rescheduling fee.

2.2 No-Show Policy & DScholar Cancellations

No-Show Policy: Failure to attend a scheduled session without prior written notice is treated as a no-show, and no refund will be issued.

Cancellation by DScholar: If DScholar cancels a session due to unforeseen circumstances, clients will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule without fee.

3. European Union Consumer Right of Withdrawal

3.1 SureCart EU Helper Integration

In compliance with EU Consumer Rights Directives and European regulatory standards (including the June 2026 withdrawal button requirement), eligible consumers located in the European Union purchasing services via our online portal have the right to withdraw from their transaction within 14 days of purchase.

3.2 Submitting an EU Order Withdrawal

Eligible EU consumers can initiate an automated withdrawal request directly from their Customer Dashboard using the withdrawal feature integrated via SureCart EU Helper, or by contacting our support team prior to service initiation.

4. General Provisions & Refund Processing

4.1 Processing Time & Method

Approved refunds will be processed within 15 business days from the date of formal approval. All refunds are issued exclusively via the original method of payment (SureCart, Razorpay, or PayPal).

4.2 Dispute Resolution & Policy Amendments

Dispute Resolution: Disputes regarding payments or refunds will be resolved amicably through mutual discussion. Unresolved disputes shall be referred to arbitration under the laws of India.

Amendments: DScholar reserves the right to amend this policy at any time. Changes are reflected on this website page.
