Role Overview

We are seeking a versatile Web Developer to build, deploy, and maintain custom client websites. In this role, you will take full ownership of client digital assets—from initial design and layout conceptualization to ongoing technical maintenance, CMS integration, and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities

1. Web Design & Development: Conceptualize, build, and maintain responsive, high-performance websites and digital portals for our clients.
2. Maintenance & Security: Perform regular website maintenance, updates, security audits, and performance optimization.
3. Project Procurement & Business Growth: Identify and acquire new web development projects/clients for DSCHOLAR WEB (attractive performance incentives paid per procured project).
4. Training & Mentorship: Conduct training sessions and workshops for internal team members and interested candidates looking to upgrade their web development skills.
5. Technical Operations: Manage web hosting, domains, SSL, CMS platforms, and client delivery workflows.

Required Skills & Qualifications

1. Education: B.Tech/B.E., M.Tech, MCA, or equivalent degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
2. Experience: 1–5 years of web development experience building and maintaining client-facing websites or web applications.
3. Core Technical Stack: Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, PHP/Node.js, and popular frameworks (React.js, Next.js, or Vue.js).
4. CMS & Database Management: Experience with WordPress/Elementor, headless CMS tools, and relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
5. Web Operations: Solid understanding of domain configuration, cloud hosting (AWS, Vercel, cPanel), SSL certificates, and web security best practices.

Work From Home (WFH) Setup Requirements

As a fully remote position, the candidate must have a functional and dedicated home workstation equipped with:

1. Hardware: High-performance laptop/desktop (Intel i5/i7 or AMD Ryzen 5/7, minimum 16GB RAM, 256GB+ SSD).
2. Display & Peripherals: External monitor setup recommended for multi-tasking, along with a working webcam, noise-canceling headset, and microphone for video meetings.
3. Internet Connectivity: High-speed broadband connection (minimum 50 Mbps) with a secondary backup power connection (e.g., router UPS or mobile hotspot) to ensure uninterrupted service during power outages.
4. Workspace: A quiet, professional home office space conducive to video calls with clients and trainees.
