We are seeking Consultant Data Collection Coordinators for project-based roles across Northeast India. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals experienced in managing field research, forming teams, and ensuring quality data collection.

Job Responsibilities:

As a Consultant Data Collection Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

• Team Formation and Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage a team of enumerators and interviewers for each project, ensuring they meet the project’s requirements.
• Project Coordination with Company: Maintain communication with the company regarding timelines, progress, challenges, and adjustments.
• Field Data Collection Oversight: Manage data collection activities in urban, rural, and remote areas, ensuring surveys, interviews, and focus groups are conducted per the project requirements.
• Quality Control: Regularly monitor data collection to ensure consistency and accuracy. Resolve any field challenges to maintain data integrity.
• Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular updates to the company on project progress, challenges, and solutions.
• Technical Support: Provide support and troubleshooting for teams using digital tools and mobile apps for data collection.
• Data Entry & Validation: Ensure collected data is entered, validated, and structured accurately for analysis.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

Location: Must be based in Northeast India (Dispur, Itanagar, Shillong, Aizawl, Imphal, Kohima, Agartala, Gangtok, Port Blair).

Education: A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Social Sciences, Management, or related fields.

Experience:

• 2-3 years of experience in data collection and field management.
• Proven ability to form and manage teams for field research.
• Familiarity with digital and mobile-based data collection tools is an advantage.

Skills:

• Strong leadership, project coordination, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data management.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Attributes:

• Problem-solving skills.
• Cultural sensitivity and understanding of local communities in Northeast India.
• Fluency in English and at least one regional language.

Compensation:

• Project-based consultancy role, with compensation mutually agreed upon based on project scope, complexity, and timeline. We assure competitive and best rates for our consultants.

Mode of Selection:

1. Initial Interview: To assess your experience, background, and approach to managing teams and data collection.
2. Technical Assignment: A practical assignment to evaluate your problem-solving and data collection skills.

Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an interview. Those who clear the interview stage will be given a technical assignment as the final step in the selection process.
