Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Research Analytics Consultant for a project-based consultancy opportunity. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about transforming complex data into meaningful insights and communicating those insights in clear, accessible language. As a Research Analytics Consultant, you will assist our clients by interpreting statistical data, analyzing qualitative research, and supporting the creation of impactful research reports and presentations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Statistical Interpretation:
   • Break down complex statistical results into simple, understandable language.
   • Explain the significance of statistical findings, their relevance to the research goals, and how they inform decision-making.
2. Qualitative Data Insights:
   • Analyze qualitative data from interviews, open-ended surveys, or focus group transcripts to identify key themes, patterns, and narrative trends.
   • Provide actionable insights that tie back to the research objectives or organizational goals.
3. Visual Data Interpretation:
   • Interpret and explain the meaning behind charts, graphs, and tables, identifying key patterns, trends, anomalies, and outliers.
   • Help clients understand the visual representation of their data and its implications.
4. Research Report Support:
   • Assist in writing clear and concise data interpretation sections in research papers, including the Results or Discussion sections of dissertations and theses.
   • Ensure that findings are effectively linked to the research objectives and provide evidence-based insights that support the overall argument.
5. Decision-Oriented Insights:
   • Translate research findings into strategic insights that businesses, NGOs, and policymakers can act upon.
6. Insight Application & Presentation Support:
   • Assist clients in applying research insights to academic writing, business reports, and strategic planning.
   • Support the creation of data-driven presentations, info-graphics, and visual summaries.
   • Help clients communicate their findings effectively and provide guidance on how to present data clearly and persuasively.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience in data analysis and interpretation, including statistical analysis and qualitative data analysis.
• Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., SPSS, R, SAS) and qualitative data analysis tools (e.g., NVivo).
• Strong understanding of research methodologies and data collection techniques.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and accessible manner.
• Experience in report writing, research interpretation, and presenting findings to diverse audiences.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Compensation:

This is a project-based consultancy role. Compensation will be mutually agreed upon, based on the scope, timeline, and complexity of each project. We assure competitive and best rates for our consultants.

Mode of Selection:

1. Initial Interview: To assess your background, approach, and client-handling capabilities.
2. Technical Assignment: A practical test to evaluate your data analytics and problem-solving skills in a real-world scenario.

Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an interview. Those who clear the interview stage will be given a technical assignment as the final step in the selection process.
