Role Overview

We’re looking for experienced Data Analytics Consultants to work with us on a project basis. You’ll be involved in handling end-to-end analytics tasks — from understanding client requirements to delivering data-backed solutions that drive measurable outcomes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with clients to gather and understand data-related needs
  • Clean, process, and analyze large and complex datasets
  • Build predictive models and apply statistical or ML techniques
  • Develop compelling dashboards and visualizations (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
  • Present insights and reports in a clear, client-friendly manner
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support project execution
  • Maintain data privacy and ethical standards throughout

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience in data analytics or consulting
  • Hands-on experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Strong critical thinking and attention to detail

Software Expertise

As a Data Analytics Consultant, familiarity with the following software tools will be highly beneficial:

General-Purpose Statistical Software

  • SPSS (IBM SPSS Statistics) – Widely used in social sciences, psychology, and education.
  • Stata – Popular in economics, epidemiology, and social sciences.
  • SAS (Statistical Analysis System) – Used in healthcare, pharma, and business analytics.
  • R – Open-source, highly flexible for advanced statistical modeling.
  • Python (with libraries like pandas, NumPy, SciPy, scikit-learn, statsmodels) – Powerful and increasingly used in research.

Specialized or Niche Software

  • MATLAB – Ideal for engineering, quantitative finance, and neuroscience.
  • EViews (Econometric Views) – Common for time-series analysis and econometrics.
  • Minitab – Primarily used in quality control and basic academic statistics.
  • JMP (by SAS) – Interactive software used in industrial and academic research.
  • PSPP – Free, open-source alternative to SPSS.

Qualitative & Mixed-Methods Software

  • NVivo – Used for qualitative data analysis like interviews and open-ended surveys.
  • ATLAS.ti – Powerful for qualitative research and coding.
  • MAXQDA – Mixed-methods software that integrates qualitative and quantitative data.

Survey Design & Data Collection Tools

  • REDCap – Common in medical and health research for survey design and data management.
  • Qualtrics – Popular for academic surveys, experimental design, and analytics.

Compensation

This is a project-based consultancy role. Compensation will be mutually agreed upon, based on the scope, timeline, and complexity of each project. Competitive and Best rates assured.


Mode of Selection

The selection process includes:

  1. Initial Interview – to assess your background, approach, and client-handling capabilities
  2. Technical Assignment – a practical test to evaluate your data analytics and problem-solving skills in a real-world scenario.

Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an interview. Those who clear the interview stage will be given a technical assignment as the final step in the selection process.
